5 oz, single serve portion of tuna jerky with far better health attributes and much less environmental impact than conventional meat snacks.

The Healthy Oceans Production Staff person is focused on process, and product.
We are looking for a person with superb interpersonal skills and experience in food manufacturing and quality control.
Reporting to the Production Team Leader, you will help our growing business achieve outstanding levels of stability, consistency, and effectiveness on the production floor.
From food manufacturing to quality assurance, you will bring your clear communications and listening skills.
You keep an impeccably clean workspace and execute every task consistently and with quality.
You treat people with kindness and patience.
You value feedback, collaboration, and accountability.
The Production Staff Person will:
? Adhere to standard operating procedures for production, working closely with your Production and Quality Control Team Leaders.
? Assemble products to product specifications and monitor outputs for product defects.
? Follow all requirements as outlined in the Food Safety Management plan.
? Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment.
? Readiness and openness to perform in all current operational functions, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency and continuous improvement.
? Ability to learn new techniques and processes.
? Foster a great work environment, emphasizing a culture of camaraderie, communication, and safety.
We are looking for someone with
Experience:
? Working in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) operations, preferably in food.
Seafood a plus.
? Working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food.
Seafood a plus.
? Production assembly or manufacturing.

Basic Requirements:
? Ability to work onsite at our Santa Cruz facility and authorization to work in the U.
S.
? Conversational Spanish preferred.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
? At least 1 year of experience in food manufacturing.
? Knowledge of food safety standards.
? Physical ability to complete job duties, which may include standing for long periods, and working in a space that lacks climate control.
? Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds short distances, to move from place to place, grasp, twist, bend, reach, and kneel.
? May be responsible for using warehouse equipment like forklifts to organize and retrieve products ahead of shipments.
Forklift operator certification a plus.
